The company "MilkyWay be well" was founded in 2021 by Martin and Barbora Bořil. They combined their extensive experience in the healthcare sector, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry, with the expertise of colleagues from the Department of Medical Psychology and Psychosomatics under the leadership of associate professor Světlák.
A spin-off company with the same name was established in 2022.
The very name "MilkyWay be well" refers to the Milky Way - the galaxy, which represents one of the infinite paths that fascinate and inspire us as humanity. This combination of the name with "be well" aims to express our effort to help people find their own way to health and contentment.
Just as the Milky Way is composed of many stars and objects, our brain is also made up of many components and processes that are closely related and influence each other.
Similarly, as the exploration of space is a challenging and constantly evolving process, so too is the research into mental health and its improvement, which requires finding new paths and, above all, collaboration between experts in various fields.
Our vision is to become a catalyst for positive and sustainable change in the field of mental health, across sectors, countries, and borders. We bring solutions based on the latest scientific insights, extensive clinical practice, and cutting-edge technologies.
Employee health and satisfactionWe believe that employee mental health and satisfaction are a priority for every organisation. With our solutions, we can help minimise the risks associated with mental health issues and help employees find their way to a happier and more fulfilling life.
Science and innovationWe integrate the insights of evidence-based medicine with modern technology in mental eHealth to provide the best services and tools to measure and improve mental health in an organisation. Our work is based on rigorous scientific research and the application of the latest scientific knowledge.
Supporting science and the Faculty of Medicine MUNIOur solution not only helps organizations, but also supports mental health research and the Faculty of Medicine MUNI itself.
Sustainable businessWe value the mental and physical health of the company, we are developing a sustainable approach in business where sustainability is not just an empty word, but above all an opportunity for positive change.
